The Croix de Fer 40 is the rugged, playful elder of the range. A Reynolds 725 tubeset, chromoly thru-axle fork, wide-range 1x drivetrain and dependable rubber make it a true adventure machine, equally at home on 200km-plus days, quick technical loops or an evening blast.

Customisable internal cable ports keep the frame clean and make it easy to add dynamo cables or a dropper post, with a dropper-ready left-hand brake lever fitted as standard. A 1x12 Shimano GRX groupset keeps shifting simple while its wide-range cassette covers every gradient, and the single chainring improves mud clearance and chain retention when trails get techy.
