Helios Spherical Road Helmet

At the heart of the Helios lies Spherical Technology, a ball-and-socket design powered by MIPS, the market-leading brain-protection system that can help reduce rotational forces. It allows the helmet's outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash and enables Progressive Layering of the two liners for more comprehensive protection. Alongside that protection, 15 Wind Tunnel vents deliver excellent cooling, enhanced by the patented Roc Loc 5 Air fit system and plush, antimicrobial XT2 padding for strong sweat absorption, making the Helios an ideal match for your road and gravel adventures.

Features

• Spherical Technology ball-and-socket design, powered by MIPS, allows the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner in a crash to help redirect impact forces away from the brain, with no hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin.
• MIPS-equipped design to help reduce rotational forces in certain impacts.
• Progressive Layering uses two densities of EPS foam to manage high- and low-speed impacts.
• 15 Wind Tunnel vents with internal channelling to force air over the scalp for remarkable cooling.
• Roc Loc 5 Air fit system suspends the helmet slightly off the skull to boost airflow, with one-handed tuning of fit tension and fore-aft tilt.
• Antimicrobial XT2 padding for strong sweat absorption.
• IONIC odour protection using pure silver to help keep the helmet fresh.
