The Look Keo Classic 3 Pedals feature a chromoly spindle for enhanced reliability. The spindle is crafted from an oversized steel axle, equipped with miniature ball bearings and a needle bearing cartridge. This design improves wear resistance and ensures long-lasting performance. A spacer keeps the needle bearing cartridge securely in place.

Look's innovative method of fitting the spindle into the pedal body further boosts the durability of these pedals. Each spindle undergoes a rigorous rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm, with a 90 kg load on the pedal's centre. This test simulates the stress of a sprint by professional cyclist André Greipel, ensuring the pedals meet high standards.
